This photo provides a close-up look of a treated portal. The mono-line is attached to standoffs, and surrounds the entrance hole. The standoffs position the line about 1" out from the portal. Initially, I set the lines vertically about 3/16" on either side of the entrance hole, but have now reduced it to 1/8" to 3/16" inside the edges of the entrance hole. Horizontally the line is even with the top and bottom edges of the portal. (Borrowing from another plan) the distance from the bottom of the hole to the bottom horizontal line is important--2 5/8 inch.
