Western_Bluebird...
Normally bluebird eggs are blue, but in a small percentage of clutches the eggs pigment to color them is lacking. The eggs may appear white, pink, or very pale blue. The blue coloring is normally added to the egg shell through glands in the female's oviduct. The offspring will have their normal coloring.
